Motorola Shadow Spotted in the Wild

wnrussell at Hofo has struck again. Many thanks for the new picture and confirmed info on the Motorola Shadow.

wnrussell – “The Shadow doesn’t have a heavy feel for it’s size, not as heavy as Droid.” He also confirmed the following specs:

    4.1″ screen,
    OMAP 3630,
    8 GB Internal,
    8 GB microSD card,
    8MP camera and
    HDMI out.

Motorola Droid Shadow Coming to Verizon Soon

Another highly anticipated Android handset is apparently getting prepped for release on Verizon Wireless. The Motorola Droid Shadow is a 4.1″ slate device with improved specs over the Motorola Droid and will be released with an updated version of Moto Blur, which can be disabled.

Nexus One “Superphone” Unveiled By Google

Google unveiled the long awaited Nexus One phone today They have dubbed it a “superphone” – which is a little cheesy for my tastes. The Nexus One is a sexy looking phone. Not as sexy as Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner, but it is only the Nexus One and not a Nexus 6.

Body Glove Case For Motorola Droid

The Droid with the Body Glove case on is .75 in thick. So the case adds .25 inches.

I like the case, I like the feel of it in my hand and I believe that it offers some protection, certainly it adds protection versus most other snap on cases or no case.

It can be difficult to take on and off at first, If you are not cautious putting the case on and taking it off it seems like you are going to pull the phone apart or pull the screen off of the keyboard. This can be quite disconcerting, but once you get the hang of it the case can be taken off rather quickly. (more…)

Signal Reception and Call Quality

I would have to say the Motorola Droid is the best “smart” phone on Verizon for signal reception and sound quality. The best phone I ever had for reception was the Motorola v710 (which would be the same the e815). The Droid has the best reception of any phone I have used since the v710. (more…)
